About the author
Lizzy Ellbrück (b. 1990, Ulm, DE) lives and works in Berlin. She studied at TU Berlin, UdK Berlin, and HfG Karlsruhe. In 2023, she received a scholarship from the State Graduate Funding Program, and in 2024/25 she was a resident at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris. She also participated in the Kunstbüro mentoring program in tandem with Sofia Hultén. Her works have been shown in solo exhibitions at venues including the Badischer Kunstverein Karlsruhe, the ZKM Pavilion, and the Kunstverein Bruchsal (with Johanna Schäfer), as well as in international group exhibitions.
